The Red Sea is a vital shipping lane, with a significant amount of oil and goods passing through it. The Houthi rebels have been launching attacks using anti-ship missiles and drones, causing concern for global trade. The US Navy has deployed its destroyers to intercept these attacks. The Houthi rebels are backed by Iran, and the attacks have raised questions about the decision to remove them from the foreign terrorist organization list.
